Adults Services

Adult Services overview
(Ages 18 and Older)
At age 18, a person is considered a legal adult.
Some individuals may still attend special education until age 22.
A school-age service coordinator usually stays with the individual until:
School ends, and
Living and work plans are stable
After that, the individual is transferred to an adult services service coordinator who focuses on adult needs.
